On the music side, the British deck star, Christian Stevenson, whose passion for skateboarding is no longer a secret, will mix during the show. Awarded with the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), the eclectic Christian Stevenson is both a TV and radio presenter. Alongside Christian will be original UK Skater Bob Sanderson on the mic hosting the show with Dave Duncan.
A night of skate frenzy will be followed up with the headlining music act, Maxïmo Park. The Newcastle five-piece is amongst the UK's most popular British Indie rock bands. They've got two albums that are just about to go platinum. A Mercury nomination for the first one, 2005's A Certain Trigger. An impassioned fanbase that tunes in to Paul Smith's idea-packed lyrics, the songs' intense pop explosion, and the band's incendiary live shows.
