Quiksilver is set to cause a stir this fall with a unique spectacle and ­experience ­blending ­skateboarding, music and art in the monumental listed building, the Grand Palais in ­Paris.

The international star of ­skateboarding and an icon for the ­generations, Tony Hawk, ­accompanied by some of the world's best ­ramp-riders (Andy ­MacDonald, Jean Postec, Kevin Staab, Jesse Fritsch, Sergie Ventura, Sandro Dias), will be ­heading for Paris on ­November 21st, to take on the ­biggest ramp in ­Europe, built in the majestic ­surroundings of the Grand Palais.

To mark this historic occasion, when monuments of sports and ­architecture meet, a live concert will take place on November 21st.

The cast list reads like a roll call of the biggest action sports stars on the ­planet â?? Kelly Slater, Tom ­Carroll, Mark Richards, Robby Naish, ­Robert Tériitéhau, Jeremy Florès, Dane ­Reynolds, Mathieu Crepel, ­Christian Hosoi, ­Candide Thovex, Travis Rice... not ­forgetting the Roxy ­ambassadors Lisa ­Andersen, ­Kassia ­Meador... all will be ­there ­alongside an expected crowd of some 5500 spectators, to ­experience a ­unique evening.
The Grand Palais opens its doors to the skaters on November 20th and 21st.

An immense street course, in ­proportion to the dizzying ­dimensions of the Grand ­Palais, will be made ­available to ­skateboarders, whether amateur or pro, for two whole days.

Competitions and ­demos by the ­elite from Quiksilver's ­skateboarding team: Dominik Pietrich, Ross Mac Gouran Manuel ­Margreiter on the street, Sascha Muller, Pete King or Sam Bosworth on the ramps, not ­forgetting the ­exceptional ­presence of the ­skateboard stars ­Christian ­Hosoi, Omar Hassan, Javier ­Mendizabal and Daniel Cardone...

To meanwild, the guest of honour at The Tony Hawk Show will be the ­celebrated and prolific Parisian ­graffiti artist André.
