THE DAIMONS
Hailing from New York City, The Daimons bring a fresh energy with their unique liberating sound. The Daimons draws inspiration from a host of influences on both sides of Atlantic. This is sorrowful indie-rock with a shot of Jack Daniels.
Nick Panopoulos delivers his intense folk lyrical style, while guitarist Chris Juliani blends his blues inspired leads with a splash of punk rock. Together they shape the dark and angular tonal landscape. On the signature track "Alone", the two blur the vocal/song melodies and compliment each other throughout. Teddy Panopoulos, on bass, rollicks unabashed melodies and rattles the low end groove. Lastly drummer Matt Arbeiter completes the rhythm section with his acid jazz percussion. The two can be heard pushing the beat to the limit on the memorable track "Give Me".
The Daimons is a band with powerful melodies and thoughtful lyrics that are as direct as they are elusive. With highlighted tracks like "The Vivid Kind" and "Alone" the music of The Daimons could appeal to pop fans and non-pop fans alike.
