We had a really good turn out with 60 entry's so it show's that Irish surfing is on the up ! It was flat for three weeks before this event so great to have some surf for the event. Madden who went to France last year was unlucky with the waves and the young ripper Conor Maquire is now taking the trip to Spain. Conor says "I am so happy to win such a big event like this at my home beach with all my school friends watching".
