Alex Vibert takes crown in Jersey!!!!
With a small onshore swell pulsing through on Sunday afternoon giving Quikilver UK a chance to look at young talent in Jersey during the 50th anniversary year of the Jersey Surfboard club.
Good turn out considering conditions with all divisions competing for the KOTG title. The under 16s was the showcase for the weather battered crowd and contest organizers, with outstanding performances from all the competitors.
Alex Vibert was able to perform in the small surf with some solid surfing executing at least 3 turns on every wave hotly pursued by Freddie Seymour. Nathan Elms struggled in the small conditions but was able to shrug off the challenge of rising star Josh le Marquand.
